Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Khana, Rivers State. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks.
