Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Cavalier County, North Dakota. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
