Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Effingham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Effingham County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
