We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Laurens County, Georgia. You will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
