Cake decorator — Essex County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cake decorator in Essex County, Vermont. The job is at a busy bakery. You will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience.
