Site safety steward wanted in Shelby County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Shelby County, Ohio. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
