Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Wallace County, Kansas. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity.
