Now hiring: we are hiring a prep cook in Talbot County, Maryland. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare the mise en place before each service; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
