Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Chambers County, Alabama. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Meals and transport allowance provided.
