Now hiring: lift technician (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Wabash County, Illinois. The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
