Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Mitchell County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard You will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
