Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Charlton County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
