Join our team: rebar worker (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Cedar County, Iowa. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 5+ years on the tools preferred.
