Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
