We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Piatt County, Illinois. The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Part-time with flexible hours.
