Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Blaine County, Nebraska. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line.
