Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundskeeper in San Luis Obispo County, California. You will be based in a residential garden complex. You will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
