Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Bristol County, Rhode Island. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
