Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Rensselaer County, New York. You will work at a cake shop. Day to day you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
