Restaurant steward wanted in Buchanan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Buchanan County, Iowa. You will be based in a five-star hotel. Requirements: • Basic food hygiene and FSSAI awareness • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts Day-to-day duties: • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
