Steel erection rigger • Cook County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Cook County, Georgia. You will work on a high-rise building site. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
