Stamping press operator — Metropolitan Borough of Wirral

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
