Container truck driver • Lee County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Lee County, Illinois. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. Requirements: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules On a typical shift you will reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
