You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Six days a week, one day off.
