Urgent requirement: horizontal milling machine operator (Colorado)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Eagle County, Colorado. You will work in a die and mould making unit. You will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 6+ years on the tools preferred.
