You should have: • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Valid driving licence Day-to-day duties: • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
