Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime Six days a week, one day off.
