Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in Rensselaer County, New York. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Your main tasks: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
