Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Noble County, Ohio. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time, day shift.
