Vacancy available: we are hiring an electrostatic spray painter in Mercer County, West Virginia. The job is at a powder coating unit. On the job you will handle: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg 4+ years on the tools preferred.
