Commercial tyre fitter — Butler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Butler County, Iowa. You will be based in a tyre and puncture shop. The role involves: • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench You should have: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
