Vacancy available: bar bender and fixer (Yobe State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Nguru, Yobe State. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
