HSE officer wanted in Wilkes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Wilkes County, North Carolina. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
