Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Saguache County

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Saguache County, Colorado. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
