Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bandera County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
