Grill cook — Mahaska County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a grill cook in Mahaska County, Iowa. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
