Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Colorado)

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Huerfano County, Colorado. You will work at a power plant. On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
