Milling machine operator • Mackinac County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
