Lifting rigger wanted in Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Scott County, Indiana. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Full-time with occasional weekends.
