Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Hopkins County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Hopkins County, Texas. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
