Vertical transportation technician • Jefferson County, Florida

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Jefferson County, Florida. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
