Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Coke County, Texas. The job is on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
