Spray painter (automotive) — Naugatuck Valley Planning Region

Join our team: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a busy body shop. You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing The role involves: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
