Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Borough of Wigan, England. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking 1+ years on the tools preferred.
