Lift maintenance fitter — Whitman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Whitman County, Washington. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
