Ladle pourer — Clinton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Clinton County, Michigan. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
