Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
