We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Prince George's County, Maryland. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Six days a week, one day off.
