Urgent requirement: stainless steel welder (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sherman County, Nebraska. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 3+ years on the tools preferred.
