Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Anambra West, Anambra State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
